Routing and dispatch
Planning a route is easy; the hard part is knowing why it was only half met. Vortex builds the optimal route with the constraints that matter and then contrasts it, stop by stop, with what the device recorded.
What it includes
The gap between the two is where lost minutes, unplanned stops and sequences the driver changed on their own show up.
- Optimisation by distance, time or cost
- Time-window, capacity and vehicle-type constraints
- Scheduled routing and free asset routing
- Stop sequence with estimated service time
- Plan versus execution comparison with deviations
- Hot reassignment when something changes
- Route pushed to the driver app
- Toll calculation and estimated trip cost
How it works
Real constraints
A three-axle truck does not fit where a motorbike does. The engine considers vehicle type, circulation restrictions, load capacity and customer service windows before proposing a sequence.
Plan versus execution
Vortex overlays the planned trace with the actual trip. Deviations are measured in kilometres and minutes, and attributed to the stretch where they happened, not to the day's total.
Changes without redoing everything
When a vehicle breaks down or an urgent order arrives, you reassign the stop and the system recalculates only what is affected. The rest of the fleet's route does not move.
