Acceptable use policy
This policy defines the limits of platform use. It applies to everyone: direct clients, distributors and end users.
Prohibited uses
It is prohibited to use the platform to:
- Monitor a person without a legal basis. Vehicle and asset tracking must rest on an employment, contractual or ownership relationship, with the prior notice the law requires.
- Track a person without their knowledge where the applicable rule requires informing them, including covert tracking of spouses, relatives or third parties.
- Breach labour rules: monitoring outside working hours without agreement, surveillance of a worker's private life, or use of location for disciplinary purposes not agreed.
- Unlawful activity, or support for it.
- Attempt to access data belonging to another company hosted on the platform.
- Run penetration testing without prior written authorisation.
- Deliberately overload the infrastructure or circumvent usage limits.
- Resell access outside the agreed distribution programme.
Obligations of whoever operates the platform
If you are a client or distributor managing end users, it falls to you to:
- Inform data subjects what data is collected, for what purpose and for how long.
- Obtain and retain consent where the law requires it.
- Handle the rights of data subjects who approach you as controller.
- Configure monitoring schedules and scope in line with labour rules.
- Keep your users' permissions current and revoke access for anyone leaving the organisation.
What we do in case of breach
- Notice. We inform you of the finding and give a reasonable period to correct it.
- Partial suspension. If it persists, we limit the function involved.
- Access suspension. On serious or repeated breach.
- Termination. With the settlement the contract provides.
Where there is imminent risk to third parties or to platform security, or where an authority orders it, we may act without prior notice and inform afterwards.
How to report abuse
If you detect misuse of the platform, write to info@adnvortex.com with the detail and, if possible, evidence. We investigate every report.
