How it works
The right channel
Speeding goes to the dashboard. A panic button goes by SMS and phone call. The event's priority decides the channel, not one setting for everything.
SMS is still needed
In rural operations or corridors without data, SMS is the only channel available. The gateway also sends configuration commands to devices with no data connection.
No alert fatigue
Do-not-disturb schedules and repetition thresholds stop the recipient from muting notifications and missing the one that mattered.
